Sam Rowley from Albany has earned StatSheet's America East Player of the Week award for January 14th. Jameel Warney from Stony Brook has earned StatSheet's America East Freshman of the Week. Also, Stony Brook's Marcus Rouse is StatSheet's America East 6th Man of the Week.

Rowley topped the America East in rebounding (13.0 per game). He also put up great stats in scoring (15.5 pts per game) and shooting (70%). The Albany sophomore put these numbers up in wins versus Binghamton and Maine.

Rowley led the Great Danes in scoring and rebounding with 21 points and 13 rebounds in a 71-59 win over Binghamton. He followed that up with 10 points and 13 rebounds in a 76-63 victory against Maine.

This is the first time this season that Sam Rowley has been selected StatSheet America East Player of the Week. The runner-up this week is junior Clancy Rugg from Vermont. Honorable mention goes to junior Dom Morris from Boston University. The highest ranking player from Maine was Alasdair Fraser who finished 10th.

StatSheet America East Freshman of the Week: Stony Brook's Jameel Warney

Jameel Warney was on the floor an average of 29 minutes starting both games for Stony Brook. He led all America East freshmen in rebounding (7.0 per game), blocked shots (2.5 per game), and free throws (4.0 per game). In a 62-37 waxing of Binghamton, Warney led the Seawolves in scoring with 13 points and in rebounding with 8. Then in a 73-59 win over Hartford, he led all scoring with 17 points and also put up 2 blocked shots.

Amazingly, Jameel Warney has won the StatSheet America East Freshman of the Week 3 times. The runner-up is John Papale from Boston University. Maurice Watson Jr. from Boston University receives honorable mention.

StatSheet America East 6th Man of the Week: Stony Brook's Marcus Rouse

Marcus Rouse, a senior and a 6-1 guard, averaged 20 minutes of action over the two games for the Seawolves. In the win over Binghamton, Rouse put up 12 points and 7 rebounds. After that, in the win over Hartford, he racked up 3 points and 3 rebounds.

This is the first time this season that Marcus Rouse has won the StatSheet America East 6th Man of the Week. Leonard Hayes, a senior guard from Stony Brook, is runner up. Wes Cole, a sophomore guard from Hartford, receives honorable mention. Maine players have not yet been named StatSheet America East Player of the Week this season.
